Rotor Wing Pilot Requirements
Qualification Standards
- Current FAA Commercial Certificate, Rotorcraft, Helicopter; Instrument, Helicopter
- Current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate
- 2,000 total Flight Hours
- 1,000 hours PIC Helicopter
- 500 hours Turbine Helicopter
- 100 hours Night Unaided or
- 50 hours Unaided WITH 100 hours NVG
- 100 hours Instrument (Actual/Hood/Simulator)
Preferred Qualifications
- ATP
- Previous air medical experience
- Previous experience with aircraft in our fleet
- Previous SPIFR experience
- 100 hours NVG
Fixed Wing Pilot Requirements
Qualification Standards
- Current FAA Commercial Certificate Airplane multi-engine land, Instrument Airplane
- Current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate
- 2,500 total Airplane Flight Hours
- 1,000 PIC Flight Hours
- 500 total multi-engine hours
Preferred Qualifications
- ATP
- Previous air medical experience
- Experience in King Air 90/200
MECHANICS
Minimum Mechanic Qualifications
• Two years of rotor-wing or fixed-wing experience as a Maintenance Technician
• FAA certificate as Airframe Mechanic and Powerplant Mechanic
CLINICAL
Flight Paramedic Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- Applicable state Certification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in high an acuity setting including a busy 911 service.
- Must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certification within 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain National Registry Certification at the Paramedic level
- Current Paramedic license for state/states of practice
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMTS approved Advanced trauma course
- FP-C or CCP-C will be required within two years of employment, with the first attempt being within 12 months of hire
- Completion of NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within one year of hire is expected.
- 5 years’ experience
Flight Nurse Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license(s) for states of practice
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in high acuity setting.
- Must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certification within 6 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMTS Approved Advanced trauma course
- CCRN, CFRN or CEN will be required within the first 2 years of employment, with the first attempt being within 12 months of hire
- Completion of NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within one year of hire is required.
