HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Oftentimes, Apollo receives patient and insurance information at the time of transport from the originating facility. We will call both the referring and receiving hospitals to obtain this information. If we are unable to locate this information, a Patient Representative on our Insurance Verification team will reach out to you by phone or via mail. We are respectful of you or your loved one’s time and recovery, so we will only reach out if needed.
Once we have obtained insurance information, we will submit a timely claim with the insurance company for processing. At this time, a Patient Advocate will be assigned to your account. Your Patient Advocate is here to guide you along the way. We will reach out to discuss the claims process, expected outcome, processing timelines, and will assist with any delays or denials.
We understand that during your time of need, you or your loved one may be without insurance. Rest assured, Apollo MedFlight has several Financial Assistance Programs to assist you with your bill.
